Slater Display "The Great Train Wreck" Begins December 1, 2013

On view at the Slater Fire Station during the “Christmas on Main” event Sunday December 1, will be a new exhibit, “The Great Train Wreck…100 Years Later”. This new exhibit from the Slater Area Historical Association commemorates the largest railroad disaster in Slater’s history which occurred in October of 1913. The Great Train Wreck exhibit will be on display at Heritage Hall, 318 First Avenue, Slater, through the month of December.
