The Slater Area Historical Association has an Opening Reception September 10th for their new exhibit Tools of the Trade. Featuring a special collection of unique tools from the late 19th and
early 20th centuries, the exhibit's opening reception is Thursday, September 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Hall Museum, 318 First Avenue in Slater. All are welcome. The exhibit will be up through Christmas. Heritage Hall hours are from 10-2 on Thursdays, and by request. Call 515-480-9789 or 515-228-3293.
